More on BW4 Series cable tray

Zip Cable Tray Systems Inc. BW4 Series cable tray is ladder style, non-painted, aluminum cable tray system. The siderails are 4" (100mm) high, have a loading depth of 3-1/4" (83mm) and have a continuous open channel with a dimension of 7/8" (22mm) wide and 1-5/8" (41mm) high. This is to allow for the acceptance of spring nuts to facilitate the installation of accessories.

Siderails are made of extruded aluminum alloy 6063. BW4 Series cable tray rungs are 1-9/16" (40mm) wide and made of extruded aluminum alloy 66081. The wide rung gives maximum cable bearing surface. The rungs are constructed with a continuous open channel that accepts spring nuts or pipe clamps for added versatility. Slotted holes on the rungs every 1" (25mm) allow for convenient tying down of cables.

Every second rung is inverted to allow for underside mounting of cables and conduit. There is no welding in the area where cables will be run, preventing possible damage. Slotted holes [size 0.25" (6.4mm) x 0.75" (19mm)] on 1" (25.4mm) centres for easy tying down of cables and to accommodate stainless steel banding (Marine rung-U.S. Coast Guard requirement). The rungs accept Talon® cable cleats that secure cables that are subject to axial, lateral and torsional forces; providing strain relief for vertical cables; protect high, medium and low voltage cables from mechanical damage resulting from short circuits. The siderails and rungs all have rounded edges to prevent damage to cables and personnel. Zip Cable Tray Systems BW4 Series cable tray systems are used for wire management in many industries, including: telecom, electrical, data centre, car wash, railway, oil field and solar.

Zip Cable Tray Systems BW4 Series is cCSAus approved Class C/3M to CSA standard C22.2 no.126.1-09, is classified by UL to NEMA VE1-2009, NEC (2011 Edition), and ANSI/NFPA 70. Zip Cable Tray Systems Inc. products are certified for use in Canada and the USA and are suitable for use as an equipment grounding connector as per the USA NEC (National Electrical Code) Article 392-18 & -60.
All Zip Cable Tray Systems Inc. products are Made in Canada.
